Souvenirs are those things we bring back from far places, imbued with fond memories.  Les Souvenirs (those final s’s are silent in French) perform songs they have brought back from various points in time, mainly the garage and yeh yeh unfused sounds of the 1960s.  Songs in French, hailing from France and other French-speaking places, but with a garage kick that needs no translation.  Each number lovingly selected by the band as though a remembrance of places past.  So, bring your baguettes and see what all the hype is about – it’s à la mode!

Ye Ye Pow is a tribute to the stylish and inventive pop music of 1960s France. While the Beatles conquered the pop world, a pantheon of French stars like Francoise Hardy, Jacques Dutronc and Serge Gainsbourg reigned in France. It was called “Ye-Ye” music, as in Yeah Yeah! Stephanie Winter (Mere Kats) leads her talented band mates and you on a sizzling tour de pop and rock like no other. Ye Ye? Oui Oui!!
