Wintry Elementary are a Northfield-based four-piece, drawing on cinema and poetry alongside their respective upbringings in Minneapolis indie-rock and New York classical music scenes. Their music is lyrically-driven, intricately orchestrated, and quietly nerdy.

Public Safety is a band inspired by the sonic grime and dirt seeping from the 90’s grunge scenes. We write our own music that ranges from indie to punk to grunge and everything in between.

With a classic yet contemporary acoustic sound, Matthew Smith’s soulful melodies and poignant lyrics reflect the spirit of authenticity. Drawing influence from folk, country, and indie rock creates a feeling of nostalgia, while improvised solos and jams make performances feel fresh and personal.
