Al Subola and Lazy Ike! Two of the Twin Cities’ best roots-rockers and bandleaders
(The Bad Companions, Lazy Ike & the Daredevils) team up for a set of tunes drawn
from (as it says on the Bad Companions’ website) “the swingin’ heyday of American
rockabilly, r & b, country and blues”!

Wilkinson James has been on the Twin Cities music scene since 2008, when Liz
Wilkinson and AJ Scheiber blended their singing and songwriting into a style that one
fan described as “the bastard offspring of June Carter Cash and Townes Van Zandt.”
Over the years the duo of Liz and AJ has evolved into a full band, adding touches of
jazz, torch, and swing to their base of honky-tonk, folk, and blues.
