Wilkinson James has been on the Twin Cities music scene since 2008, when Liz
Wilkinson and AJ Scheiber blended their singing and songwriting into a style that one
fan described as “the bastard offspring of June Carter Cash and Townes Van Zandt.”
Over the years the duo of Liz and AJ has evolved into a full band, adding touches of
jazz, torch, and swing to their base of honky-tonk, folk, and blues.

Barrel Flash is a Saint Paul-based trio inspired by the folk traditions of the US, UK, and
Ireland initially formed through collaborations in the vigorous music and club/taproom
scene in the Twin Cities. Each member brings a unique collection of musical influences
to their original songs and to their new interpretations of beloved “classics.” Their first
album A Guide to Dancing Alone is available on all streaming platforms.
