Sylvia May and The Maydays : ‘Sylvia May and The Maydays are a talented four-piece group focused on making Alternative Indie Rock music together. The influence of The Maydays merges Sylvia May’s raw and honest acoustic sound with a post punk and jam band sound that compares to Siouxsie and The Banshees, Melodies Echo Chamber, and has even been compared to Coldplay. They are currently recording their debut album to come out this summer, and are up and coming in the Minneapolis music scene.’
Woodzen: “Woodzen’s sound has been compared to an immense variety of bands (The Grateful Dead, The Wallflowers, The War on Drugs). Melding funk grooves with jazzy saxophone, blistering guitars, ethereal keyboards, and shimmering vocal harmonies, and bluegrass fiddle, Woodzen’s live shows capture more vibes than a Minnesota hot dish. Add in evocative lyrics and call it psychedelic country.”
