Oister Boy is a four-piece punk powerhouse from Minneapolis, channeling chaos into catharsis with a sound that slashes through the noise. Ferocious and vulnerable in equal measure, their thrashy, emotionally raw music fuses jagged riffs, scream-along hooks, and moments of disarming clarity. Now into recording their first full-length album and fresh off a run of packed local shows, Oister Boy is fast becoming one of the most essential voices in the Midwest punk scene.
Spencer Cameron and Jackson Kates are songwriters based in St. Paul, Minnesota. While exploring a hard rock sound in their band Holding Hemlock (with their beloved friend and bandmate Micah Miller), their acoustic side lets the duo shine as a single unit, their voices in harmony as they draw on influences ranging from Adrianne Lenker to Cat Stevens.
