David Stoddard is a composer, songwriter, producer, educator, and music theory lover based in Minnesota.
He’s a Kerrville New Folk winner, and has taken top writing honors at the Minnesota Folk Festival, the South Florida Folk Festival, and the Tucson Folk Festival. He tours throughout the US and Canada. Based in Fergus Falls, MN, he is celebrated for his clever, lyric-driven, and humorous Americana folk music, and has built a strong reputation as a dedicated solo performer and collaborator across the US and Canada.

Over the last fifty plus years David Hinske has entertained audiences both as a solo performer and a band member in venues and living rooms across the United States ranging from Sebastopol, California to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and many, many places in between.
David is a multi-instrumentalist and loves to spend hours on end in the studio refining and crafting his odd power pop/rock/folk music into award winning, quirky and layered three minute exposés. Sometimes straightforward, sometimes obscure, his lyrics make an audience ponder how in the heck his brain works.
