Chris Davies and The Afterparty signifies the continuation and spirit that came after The
Promise Land Band’s historic performance at the First Avenue owned Turf Club on
January 11, 2019. They are a band based in the Twin Cities known for their splendid mix
of americana and pop. Chris Davies & The Afterparty have been enjoyed by audiences
from the 7 th Street Entry to the Surf Ballroom. Their performances are highly entertaining
and rich in original material. The Afterparty features Dan Baker on bass, Larissa Beck on
background vocals and Tambourine and Joe Nelson on Mandolin. Occasionally they are
also joined by Ben Lohrding on drums.
