Bryan Odeen has spent most of his life as a transplant, moving around the Midwest, finding a love of songwriting while completing an internship in North Carolina. He now lives in South Minneapolis but his music carries traces of all the places he’s lived – from the fields and forests of Wisconsin, the mountains of Western North Carolina, the prairies of Iowa, and the hustling streets of small towns and big cities alike. Bryan writes with an ear for stories and emotions that connect people and his musical style has been compared to the Milk Carton Kids, James Taylor, and “the folky stuff my parents listened to in the 60s”.
