Joel Sax has brought together some of the most influential Twin Cities musicians to play
together, as one band, The Friend Ship, sharing their hits and new songs.

Joel Sax just released his debut album, Billions of Stars, described by Mostly Minnesota Music
as ‘A Lovely New Album.’ Joel’s successful release, sold out show and wonderful response is in
large part thanks to the musicians below, who will again be sharing the stage.

Nikki Lemire has earned accolades from fans and critics alike. Natalia Toledo, from The Current
describes Mend It as “a dreamy, simple, and beautiful song led by the sounds of her harp.”

Haley e Rydell is a singer/songwriter multi-instrumentalist, and her album ‘Midwestern
Daughter’ is beloved by the music community. Her touching lyrics and beautiful melodies,
draws scores of fans to top local venues.

Marc Severin has been a mainstay of the music scene, singing and writing for ‘West of Steve,’
and, with his son Joey, in ‘Severin’s Moving Company.’ His music is true Americana and his
storytelling is midwestern country at its best.

Dave Mehling is a highly sought-after musician, producer and songwriter. He has produced
albums for Joel Sax, Sarah Morris, Haley e Rydell, Emily Haavik, Gaelynn Lea and so many
others. Dave has recently released a beautiful new song, Harmony.

Nyssa June Krause is an acclaimed bassist, playing with well-known bands like the Foxgloves
and Superior Siren, who recently dazzled at First Avenue. She also toured the U.S. & Canada in
2024 with folk singer Andrea Von Kampen.
