The Sparks are a Rock and Roll Band from MPLS. They combine poignant lyrics with, jangly guitars, and memorable melodies to create a garage band sound that is reminiscent of Tom Petty, Big Star, and Bruce Springsteen.

Led by songwriter Make Keene, the Makeouts have been an outlet for Make’s eclectic influences since his 2019 EP “Haymaker”. On his upcoming album “Beware the Flowers”, Make and the Makeouts whip up a sound of messy but handsome guitars, haunting vocals, swinging drums and luring bass grooves. Songs about love, dark alleys, and running out of gas. The kind of sound that reminds you that the Hope diamond used to be Dinosaur bones.
