Shrimp Olympics Tuesday Residency w. Larry Wish, Unattractive Giant Monster

Tuesday July 30 @ 9:00 pm - 11:30 pm

Shrimp Olympics began as the home recording project of Austin Lombardo, and has since expanded into a 5 piece band, featuring Lombardo (guitar, vocals), Teagan DeVoe (violin, vocals), Mat Roberts (keyboard, percussion), Alex Graves (bass), and Stone

Thompson (drums).

The early Shrimps tapes followed in the tradition of home taping popsters such as R Stevie Moore, Daniel Johnston and Ween.

Shrimp Olympics music often makes quick jumps between genres including psychedelic pop, country rock, jazz, noise experiments, progressive rock, baroque pop, etc

Larry Wish:

Larry Wish has been composing weirdo indie music since 2007. His songs often explore daily observations, reflections, interactions, and trying to understand love and life without analyzing either to death. By combining elements of many kinds of music, Larry Wish and his band create a musical universe that expands limits and makes things fun!

Unattractive Giant Monster:

UGM mutated and grew from a large dose of trash 80s/90s flicks, punk rock, and hotdogs to create a high energy irreverent post-punk rock group.
