Bio:
Noah Schmitt has created his sound and creative outlook on music from the trenches of the Xbox
game Rock Band. He and his brothers were first given real instruments entering middle school;
the rest is history. However, Noah found his way with a guitar in early high school. He wrote
songs on an old beat-up Tacoma acoustic guitar emulating songs from some of his favorite bands
at the time, Pearl Jam, Alice in Chains, Nirvana, and Live. Hailing from forty minutes south of
Minneapolis in a town called Jordan, Noah began his musical endeavor.
After attending college at the University of Sioux Falls in South Dakota and majoring in
Psychology, Noah made his first leap at showcasing his music. Playing at local coffee shops,
flower shops, bars, and venues he began to make a name for himself in the area. With a genre
fluidity of traditional folk, alternative country, and soft rock, Noah began to make his sound.
Relocating to the Minneapolis area once again has connected him to his original musical roots
and desires. With one released single thus far, Noah plans to release his debut album “Sunseeker”
near Christmas with singles preceding it.
