Half past midnight is a jazz combo that takes heavy inspiration from standard and contemporary jazz, funk, hip-hop, Latin, and African music and the music those influences are strongly expressed in the music they play. From the straight ahead jazz to the Hip-Hop arrangements to the Afro-beat originals, the show will take you on a trip of different sounds, styles and emotions.

Having met playing music at Walker West Music Academy together, this band has studied under local greats such as Kevin Washington, Kavyesh Kaviraj, Jack Breen, Solomon Parham and more and has also had the opportunity to play alongside jazz greats such as Joe Lavano, JD Allen and others.

All this experience has helped the group to grow their maturity and sound, and build a show you won’t wanna miss.
