Jeff Ray is an avant-garde resonator slide-guitarist and songwriter rooted in the traditions of acoustic blues and American primitive fingerstyle guitar. Jeff‘s duo with “Hurricane” Harold Tremblay is a “roots and blues oddity” featuring pulsing train style harmonica and thumb thumping east-meets-west resonator slide-guitar, a sound they created nearly a decade ago when they represented Minnesota at the International Blues Challenge in Memphis, TN. They have since become a well-oiled machine and received critical acclaim for their live studio recording “Carriage House Sessions”.
