DESCRIPTION:Andra Suchy\, a North Dakota native\, hails from a talented and musical family. Renowned for having one of the finest voices in the industry\, Andra is classically trained and a veteran of musical theater. She has also collaborated on recordings with a diverse array of indie\, rock\, blues\, and folk acts\, including The Honeydogs\, Jonny Lang\, Peter Ostroushko\, and Soul Asylum’s Dave Pirner. \nAndra has graced some of the most prestigious stages globally\, including The Ryman Auditorium\, First Avenue\, and The Bohemian Hall. She is or was also a regular performer on the nationally acclaimed radio show\, A Prairie Home Companion. \nWhile primarily known for her vocal prowess\, Andra has quietly been honing her songwriting craft. In 2006\, she self-released her solo album\, Patchwork Story. Later\, she signed with the Grammy-winning label Red House Records and released her album Little Heart on March 27\, 2012. This album\, filled with infectious originals\, is a twang-tinged mix of country\, rock\, folk\, and blues\, and has become a favorite on Americana and AAA radio stations. Generating significant buzz and media interest\, her second solo release\, Little Heart\, established Andra as a prominent voice in country\, Americana\, and roots music. Throughout 2012\, Andra toured in support of the album\, showcasing at various festivals\, including South By Southwest (SXSW) and the International Folk Alliance Conference in Memphis. \nAffectionately known as “Auntie Andra” by her nieces and nephews\, who she proudly adores\, Andra balances her professional life with a rich family life. SUMMARY:The Last Minute Jug Band
DESCRIPTION:The Last Minute Jug Band is an official award winning Jugband; taking first place in the prestigious 2026 Annual Battle of the Jug Bands competition.  This local\, long running annual event dates back to the late 70’s and was founded in the heart of the vibrant West Bank Minneapolis music scene by local music legends such as Dave “Snaker” Ray\, “Spider” John Koerner and Tony “Little Sun” Glover\, among many others. \n\nRecruitment for The Last Minute Jug Band began at the White Squirrel in December of 2023 (shortly before the registration deadline for the annual Jug Band competition) and without an official band name or complete band; the namesake was born.  And true to form\, the band has managed to pull together a growing list of band members (at the last minute) over the years to play the annual jug band event.\n\nThe Last Minute Jugband will be playing the entire song list from “Mother McCree’s Uptown Jug Champions”.  This is an early recording of Jerry Garcia\, Bob Weir & Ron “Pigpen” McKernan\, playing together in a Jug Band before they formed the Grateful Dead; as captured by a college radio station at a coffee shop in 1964.\n\nCome to see the coveted Waffle Iron trophy on display and experience some authentic jug band music played on Banjo\, Mandolin\, Resophonic Guitar\, Harmonica\, Washtub Bass\, Washboard\, Kazoo\, Saw and of course a Jug or two….\n\n\n\n\n1:00  Pete Meyer & Bill Finke Blues Duo\n2:00  Kickafoot Stringband\n3:00  The Last Minute Jugband

DESCRIPTION:The New Havoline Supremes are a Twin Cities based band\,  featuring the legendary Mary Cutrufello on guitar and vocals\, and Dan Lowinger on guitar.  Formed in October of 2023\, the band plays a mix of classic country and Mary’s original tunes\, and features Greg Schutte (Ryan Bingham\, Mickey Hart\, Chasity Brown) on drums\, and Erik Lillestol (Cafe Accordion) on bass.\n\nMary Cutrufello\n\nWith 30 years of experience in the music business\, Mary Cutrufello is everything from Texas honky-tonk heroine and fiery Midwestern roots-rocker to a powerhouse acoustic performer. Connecticut-raised and Yale-educated\, Mary’s musical journey has taken her from the East Coast to Houston and now to Minnesota.  Career highlights include: the major label release of    ”When the Night is Through\,” on Mercury Records in 1998\, appearances on national tv shows such as Tonight Show with Jay Leno\, appearances at major festivals including Farm Aid\, and tours with Jimmie Dale Gilmore and Tish Hinojosa.  Mary has seven self-released albums\, and has played guitar locally for Annie Mack\, Michael Perry and the Long Beds\, and many others.\n\n\n\nDan Lowinger\, a transplant from Portland\, OR\, is a guitarist steeped in the tradition of Western swing and classic country. Since moving to the Twin Cities in 2017\, Dan has become a fixture in the local country and Americana scene\, playing on a regular basis with all star Western swing band Honky Tonk Jump\, and country rockers Cole Diamond\, while also sharing the stage with local greats\, Martin Zellar (Gear Daddies)\, Tony Andreason (The Trashmen)\, Pat Donohue (Prairie Home Companion) and many others! He has performed regionally and toured nationally with many different country and swing bands from the Pacific Northwest including: The Barn Door Slammers\, Ralph Carney’s Pepper Grinders\, Vince Mira\, and Western Centuries.

DESCRIPTION:A funky instrumental trio consisting of three of the twin cities most seasoned musicians (we’re talking fresh herbs –\nnone of the stale dried out store bought stuff). Trench Size Trio (TST) has been developing a sound and a body of\nwork for close to a decade and not showing any signs of slowing down. Tom Reichert is the founder and has been\nplaying with Joey Van Phillips for over two decades. So\, it’s no mystery that their symmetry together has been a\nnatural progression. Jim Anton\, a long-time touring musician to the stars\, has more recently settled down in the twin\ncities and has become a household name to musicians and listeners alike. Together the three have developed a very\nunique sound\, a cohesive musical bonding that gives a joyful listening experience. TST plays all original music\nleaning towards a back beat heavy sound with a jazz sense of improvisation. The melodies are catchy and quirky at\nthe same time\, but easily accessible to the average listener.\nTwo of their most recent compositions\, “Jiggle the Handle” and “Can We Sing”\, have been self-released and are\navailable on all streaming platforms.

Dan Tanz is a Minneapolis songwriter and guitarist extraordinaire who fronts the classic country band TC Ramblers and bluegrass band The West 7th Bluegrass Band. Dan and Chris collaborated on an online songwriting and recording project\, Holm & Tanz\, during COVID 19 lockdown and still perform together semi-regularly. Mike Johnson can be seen performing with various bands around Minneapolis\, including TC Ramblers\, on mandolin and pedal steel guitar.
