DESCRIPTION:Kaatwalk\, a Twin Cities based singer-songwriter\, infuses her music with a quiet honesty. Her musical style is a blend of heartfelt lyrics and a stripped-down\, authentic sound. Inspired by storytellers like Brandi Carlile\, Phoebe Bridgers\, and Joni Mitchell\, Kaatwalk’s music defies genre boundaries and embraces lived experiences. Her songwriting is personal and reflective\, often drawn from the shared moments and emotional undercurrents of everyday life. \nShe has released 5 songs so far: “Monster” in 2022\, “Rum in Your Coffee” in 2022\, “Peace of Mind\,” a collaboration with the Fargo-based band\, Walking Phoenix released in 2023\, and “Falling on Deaf Ears” a collaboration with local artist\, Dirty Hymns. Kaatwalk’s fifth song release is called “Stop the Rain”\, and is available for streaming on October 17th\, 2025. You can also find Kaatwalk vocals on many songs of the album “Northern Soul” by Twin Cities based band\, The Holy North. The sophomore album was released October 3rd\, 2025. \nKaatwalk has been recording new music with respected Minnesota musicians such as Marvin Gohman\, Bob Delage\, Phil Solem\, Gil Navarro\, and several guest players. Additionally\, she has been working with engineer John Wright at his studio in shakopee\, Minnesota. \nOutside of her solo work\, she performs full-time as one half of the duo Marv and Kaat\, and sings with the epic\, powerhouse group\, The Holy North. Collaboration and community are central to her creative process. \nKaatwalk believes that music isn’t about perfection; it’s about being present and connecting with others. She’s grateful for every opportunity to grow\, connect\, and share songs that feel authentic. \nNina Luna is\, simply put\, a force of nature. Born into the mystery of the hills of New England\, raised on the spirit and the myths of the North Country in Minneapolis\, she cut her teeth on legends of artists come before and forged her own path through the bright lights and dive bars of New York and Los Angeles. The unique influence of her bond with these places comes through in Luna’s music – a natural mysticism and sacred sensuality combine with a lust for life and a fiery edge into a shape-shifting alt-pop sound. Her lyrics are honest and vulnerable while her production is often cinematic and otherworldly\, her voice at once ethereal and powerful. She has always been a singer\, and the writing came shortly after she first held a pencil. In her songs\, she tells stories inspired by her own experiences\, books and other media\, and everyday people around her. She has always loved stories with unreliable narrators. Her music is a raw diary\, a gutted truth\, as if every song is a confession. Many of these songs have been kept in the dark until now\, and soon each story will come to light.
